◆ The minty sensation from the eye mask is so strong, is it normal?

Yes! The herbs are taking effect to expel the toxins. If the feeling is too unbearable we suggest you do 5 minutes first and proceed with 10 minutes during the next usage and thereafter 15 minutes. The feeling should subside as the days go by as the detox would have already taken place.

 

◆ How long will it take to see results?

We recommend daily usage for the first 14 days to let the detox fully take effect! After which you can just use it whenever you feel like your eyes need a rest, or schedule usage 2-3 times a week to maintain eye quality. You will be able to feel a difference - No more strained and dry eyes!

 

◆ I tend to fall asleep with the eye mask on, is that okay?

Yes it is. Natureye masks are made from 100% cotton sheets so it is soft on the skin. Our ingredients are extracted from plants and herbs thus it will have no damaging effect on the skin at all. The eye mask will however dry up like any other mask and so you'll need to look for it when you wake up XD !

 

◆ Can the eye mask reduce eye bags?

Yes Natureye Mask helps to reduce puffiness and this will in turn reduce eye bags. Some of our customers have seen results in just one day! Do note that reduction of puffy eyes/eye bags do not necessarily mean it will reduce your dark eye circles. Although we have seen some customers with amazing results but we will not put a promise to that as results vary from different individuals.

 

◆ The eye mask has a strong herbal smell, is this normal?

Yes! Natureye masks are made with chinese herbal ingredients which are highly concentrated to give optimal results. It would be pointless to offer a diluted one just to reduce the smell because then the eye mask would be less effective and it would take more usages to achieve a full detox. Most customers actually find the scent to be really soothing!

 

◆ My eyelids are slighted flushed/red after using. Is this normal?

Yes! This is due to the blood circulation that is happening around the eye region, similar to the Traditional Chinese Medicine "Gua Sha" or "Cupping" where the herbs enter your acupuncture points near your eyes to detox and improve blood circulation. As long as there is no itchiness or swelling, it is totally normal and after 20-30 minutes the redness will subside.

 

◆ Can I use the eye mask with eyelash extensions?

Yes! Natureye Mask is made of natural ingredients and will not cause your eyelash extensions to fall off. However if your eyelashes are too long you can consider cutting the eye mask into half and placing on top and below on the eyelids.

 

◆ Can I use the eye mask with contact lens?

We recommend to remove your contact lens before usage.

 

◆ Should I use it in the morning or night?

It really depends! Some people like to use it in the morning because the minty sensation helps to freshen their eyes so they don't feel groggy leaving the bed to wake up. Some people feel that it's so soothing it helps them to fall asleep. Try it out both ways and see what suits you more!

 

◆ Do I need put it in the fridge?

No you do not need to as the product will still emit that cooling minty feeling even without it being refrigerated? However if you prefer super intense menthol sensation, feel free to refrigerate it before using and lie in front of a blowing fan for maximum cooling sensation.

 

◆ Where is Natureye from?

Natureye Mask is a Product of Singapore and manufactured in China. The reason why we chose China is because after going through intensive R&D for close to a year, the herbs from other countries were incomparable to China's herbs. China produces the freshest herbs in the world growing!

 

◆ I have sensitive skin, is this product suitable for me?

Yes it is! Natureye Mask is suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin unless you are allergic to certain herbs. You can do a short allergy test before using it by taking some of the herbal juices from the bag and applying it to the back of your wrist and behind your ears. If there is no swelling or itchiness after 10 minutes, you are good to go!

 

◆ Parabens, are they safe?

Our mask contain parabens, which is a preservative highly effective at preventing the growth of fungi, bacteria and yeast that can cause products to spoil. This is very important to us as our product contains more than 50% of water and with no alcohol content, without proper effective preservative, yeast and bacteria can form very easily.
They are used in cosmetic, personal hygiene products, food products and pharmaceuticals. Parabens are derived from para-hydroxybenzoic acid (PHBA) that occurs naturally in many fruits and vegetables, such as cucumbers, cherries, carrots, blueberries and onions.
Our mask have not received any reports of adverse effects , using alternative preservatives can cause reactions in our users, especially since this is a eye mask, we did not want to risk that and chose to stay with a formulation that works and has been proven safe.  In 2012 CIR reaffirm the safety of parabens used in cosmetics and concluded they were safe for use in cosmetics at levels up to 25 percent. Our mask only contains 0.2%. We wish to ensure the highest safety for our users without causing any skin reactions.
